This year’s awards went to 19 companies divided into six major categories: Sustainable Company of the Year Award, Sustainable Factory of the Year Award, Safety Excellence Award, Leaders Award, Challengers Award and Jury Special Mention Award.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited, Hyderabad received the Sustainable Business of the Year award, while Hindustan Unilever Ltd, HPC plant in Pondicherry won the Sustainable Factory of the Year award. The other big winner of the evening was Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd, Bidadi, which earned him the Safety Excellence Award.

This year, the jury’s special mention was awarded to IIFL Home Finance Ltd, Gurgaon for his initiativeKutum, “ Rehau Polymers Private Limited, Pune for his initiativeUPCYCLE95,” and Welspun India Limited, Bombay for “30 MLD wastewater treatment plant to recycle and reuse domestic wastewater.”

The Sustainability 4.0 Awards program highlights the need to make connections between an organization’s strategy, governance and financial performance and the social, environmental and economic context in which it operates.
