FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield-Suisun City Visual Arts Association art exhibit at the Solano Town Center Gallery wraps up in a few weeks.

The art exhibition titled “The Fauna” runs until September 10. Featured artists are Cherol Ockrassa and Vineeta Dhillon.

The association is a non-profit organization of visual artists and friends of the arts working collaboratively with the community to promote artistic creativity, education and expression.

They have two studios in Fairfield: Downtown Solano Gallery and Gift Shop, 1350 Travis Blvd, Suite D8, and Village 360 ​​Gallery, 4949 Suisun Valley Road, Rural Fairfield.

The next show will be “In The Country”, from September 14 to October 29. The featured artist will be Dennis Ariza at the Village 360 ​​studio.

A reception and signing session will be held from 4-6 p.m. on October 1 at Village 360 ​​Gallery. Studio hours are 2:30-7 p.m. Fridays and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and sundays

Also in September is the annual art and wine festival The Crush. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on September 24 at Village 360.
